New Mills travelled to Dove on a sunny day where the ground looked fantastic. Skipper Gregory once again lost the Toss and Dove were in the field. With a good deck Dove had to dig in to pick up wickets, however opening bowler Gilbride 4-44 and Dan Walker 4-24 reduced New Mills to 137 all out with Dove much sharper in the field taking nearly all their chances.


The total was was well short as Dove raced to the target in 25 overs. Opener Dan Jones 63 not out and Tom Forder 48 not out saw Dove claim maximum points finishing 142-2.


The Seconds travelled to New Mills won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers R.Johnson and R.Hawkes seemed to get off to a good start until Skipper Hawkes got bowled leaving dove 18-1, R.Forder came in and ran well with R.Johnson moving the scoreboard up quite quickly until dove lost a couple of wickets in quick succession leaving Dove 78-4, R.Johnson still at the crease moving to his 50 soon after this, him and P.Scowen got dove to 125-4. Reece Johnson was caught on the edge on a outstanding 78. Dove then lost the 6 wickets quickly some nice pinch hitting from T.Green and J.Norton saw dove finish on 181.

Dove started quickly after Tea with J.Norton and D.Waterhouse having New mills 12-4 after just 6 overs after the openers rattled New Mills in came the Janitors K.Waterhouse and B.Bagshaw to finish the match off with New Mills all out for 50. K.Waterhouse ending with figures of 5/2. Dove winning by 131 runs.
