Dove travelled to Stalybridge for the first time since they joined the league and after the weeks poor weather were asked to bat by the hosts.

Dove made a slow start on a damp wicket and it soon became clear that a three figure score would be a good score. Opener Joe Gregory dug in (30) and Gilbride hit 43 as Dove crept to 101 all out in 34 overs.

In reply, the hosts had no answer to the Dove bowling attack as they were dismissed for just 37. Gilbride 4-11 and Bagshaw 3-8 with the damage.

3 wins in a row now for Dove who play Woodley next week in their final home game of the shortened Covid season.
