Dove travelled to the picturesque Pott Shrigley for the final game of the 2021 season.
Skipper Gregory won the toss and Dove batted first. Opener Dan Jones hit 37 but at 108–6 Dove were in a bit of trouble.
Tom Forder and Jack Gregory however both hit 53 as Dove posted 199 all out, one run short of full batting points!
In reply, Dove picked up regular wickets and the hosts had no answer to Dave Cartledge who finished with figures of 6 wickets for 35 runs as Pott Shrigley were all out for 100.
The result meant that the First Team finished in Second place behind champions Broadbottom and 60 points clear of third place Woodley. Dove lost just two games all season and went the whole season unbeaten away from home.
