Dove hosted Hayfield who won the toss and elected to bat first.
It was Dove who made the perfect start as Hayfield opener Wood was dismissed with the first ball of the game.
This set for tone for the visitors who never covered with only 2 batters making double figures.
Dan Gilbride bowled a superb spell of 12 overs 7 wickets for 29 runs as Hayfield were all out for 60 in 24 overs.
Gilbride then hit 40 not out as Dove reached the target losing one wicket.
Division Two
Buxworth 178/9 v Dove Holes 192/9
Dove Holes win by 14 runs.
The Second Team travelled to face Buxworth First Team and were asked to bat by the hosts.
Rob Hawkes hit a superb 95 and Wayne Collins 24 as Dove hit 192/9 from the 45 overs.
In a thrilling reply the Buxworth top order all contributed as they looked to chase the target. Cory Flint bowled a superb spell of 12 overs 4 wickets for 19 runs and two key wickets from Jonti Norton saw Dove restrict the hosts to 178/9 14 runs short, Dove sealing their first win of the season.
