In reply, the visitors lost a couple of early wickets as Gilbride bowled an impressive spell of 12 overs 3 for 59. The visitors kept going but Dan Waterhouse’s 3 for 19 meant Hayfield were dismissed 73 runs short on 174 as Dove picked up the maximum 20 points.

Charlesworth 48ao v Dove Holes 50-1

Dove win by 9 wickets (20pts)

Unbeaten Dove travelled to Charlesworth and it was the hosts who won the toss and batted first.

This soon looked to be the wrong decision as the Dove opening attack of Cory Flint 3 for 11 and Kev Waterhouse 6 for 27 ripped through the batting order leaving Charlesworth 48 all out in just 21.4 overs.

Dove secured the maximum 20 points knocking off the total for the loss of 1 wicket in 10.3 overs.

Dove remain unbeaten and have now won 12 out of 12 league games.
