Dove Holes 97ao v Broadbottom 100-3
Dove lose by 7 wickets (1 point)
Dove won the toss and batted first against league leaders Broadbottom on a track which was remarkably dry despite the heavy rain on Friday which meant most other games in the area were called off.
Despite reaching 43-1 Dove lost regular wickets and soon found themselves in trouble reaching just 97 all out with 15 overs unused.
In reply, Broadbottom batted patiently picking off the very few bad balls, a lesson to the Dove batters. The visitors reached the target for the loss of just 3 wickets in 35 overs.
Just one point for Dove.
