Tintwistle 59ao v Dove Holes 60/3
Dove Holes win by 7 wickets
Dove travelled to Tint on a blustery day. Gregos calling hasn’t improved so Tintwistle had the choice and chose to bat.
Gilly and Crich opened up with Gilly getting the early wicket of Robinson - a worrying sign as the ball didn’t bounce and clattered into the stumps.
Davies was next to go with the score on 16 with Eddie taking a smart grab in the gully off Gilly. Gilly then picked up Weston LBW before Crich got in on the act getting the oversea and Handforth to leave tint 38-5.
Morris was next to go bowled by Gilly before Water was introduced- getting Mayne caught by Grego. The tail soon went with Water getting another 2 and a run out to leave Tint all out for 59.
The reply started disastrously with Brown bowling DJ with one that didn’t get up. Any early nerves were soon put to bed though as Grego hit Weston’s first ball 3 or 4 gardens deep.
Grego and Eddie put on 50 before Grego fell for 25. Forder came and went leaving Gilly and Eddie to finish the job off to knock it off for 3- Eddie 27no.
MOTM sponsored by EP Walling was hard to pick with all of the bowling attack being superb - Gilly just edging it with 4/32.

Dove Holes 97ao v Tintwistle 98/9
Tintwistle win 1 wicket
After last weeks tight win Dove 2s welcomed Tintwistle 2s to the Hallsteads arena. Hillys puppet this week Keegan lost the toss and Dove were put into Bat.
Dove started well progressing steadily to a very good 70-2 before a miscommunication between Keith and Egg saw the latter ran out. Keith departed soon after for a very useful 33. The Dove tail then capitulated falling to measly 97 after a very promising start.
Although they had posted a low score dove were still hopeful after previous tight victories. Openers Flint and Johnson bowled well both picking up wickets while Dove kept tight in the field.
Roy then came on from the bottom end and bowled very well to unroot a potentially dangerous partnership before Keith took two wickets in two balls to put Dove in a good position to win. Johnson came back on and picked up Two more wickets before another Keith wicket left Tintwistle requiring 2 runs with one wicket in hand. Tintwistle prevailed in the end winning a Close game by one wicket.
The LNH electrical man of the match was Kieren Jones
