Dove Holes 69-1 v Whaley Bridge 65ao

Dove Holes win by 9 wickets

Dove Holes hosted Whaley Bridge on with Hallstead looking in fine condition despite being damp from Thursdays downpour. Grego won the toss and put Whaley into bat.

Dove continued their great early season form with the ball Gilly and Crich picking up a Holden a piece to start proceedings. After those 2 important wickets Whaley never really had an answer to the Dove attack. Gareth Crompton dig in for 19 but Dove to regular wickets bowling Whaley out for just 65.

Cory Flint picking up 4-6, Gilly 3 and Crich 2 which didn’t leave anytime for Carter to pick up the thousandth.

As last week Gilly and Baggy opened up against the attack of Higginbottom and Holden. Despite the odd good ball on the early season track Dove batted well. The only loss was Gilly who fell for 24. Baggy 19no and Jones 9no finished off proceedings.
