Stand in captain Gregory won the toss and asked the hosts to bat on dove visit to Bredbury St Marks stunning new facility.
Nathan Moss set the tone with a economic opening spell backed up by Edward Johnson who was worse for wear. A cautious opening pair survived the onslaught as change bowlers Roy Vernon spin took control as Gibsons pace looked threatening with Scowen taking a stunner in the slips.
Green, Leaning and Ridgeway then restricted the hosts to 87 ao as the hungover Johnson stood in as wicket keeper.
Tom Green got DHCC off to a positive start as veteran Scowen dropped anchor. Green retired on 25 then 17 year old Charlie Scowen, on his return to cricket, took 26 off a over - the most runs in a single over by a DHCC batter as Dove passed the target and enjoyed a Madri in the sun.
The Madin and Moss player of the match was shared between fast bowling all rounder Gibson and Charlie Scowen-Flintoff
