Dove Holes win by 3 wickets
Dove hosted Hazel Grove and asked the visitors to bat first. Opening bowler Dan Gilbride bowled a superb spell of 12 overs 5 maidens 6 wickets for 37 runs as Grove were all out for 107 inside 28 overs.
Dove struggled in reply and lost 4 wickets for just 8 runs. Shaun Cartledge (24) and Joe Hall (28) steadied the ship but Dove continued to lose wickets.
Mark Turner then hit a fine 40 not out to see Dove reach the target for the loss of 7 wickets.
Division Two
High Lane 132/4 v Dove Holes 131/9
High Lane win by 6 wickets
The Second Team travelled to face High Lane First Team and were asked to bat by the hosts.
In form Rob Hawkes hit 40, Mark Hill 27 and Ted Johnson hit double figures! as Dove finished the innings on 131/9.
The hosts batted well in reply and Dove could only take 4 wickets as High Lane reached the target.

Sunday League Group A
Whaley Bridge 121/2 v Dove Holes 120ao
Dove third team travelled to Whaley Bridge after a few weeks off due to fixture clashes.
Dove lost the toss and batted first with Chris Hill (23) top scoring. Nathan Moss hit 22 and Skipper Rob Jones 19 as the third team posted their highest score of the season 120 all out.
In reply, Whaley had a strong opening pair who both retired out. Kian Vernon bowled well picking up 2 wickets but the hosts reached the target in 25 overs.
