Woodey win by 7 runs
Dove hosted Woodley, skipper Critchlow lost the toss and the visitors batted first.
Dove picked up a couple of early wickets but the Woodley middle order all made useful contributions. At 139-8 Dove looked on top but the visitors kept going and posted 189 all out. Dan Gilbride picked up 4 wickets for 56 and Sean Critchlow 3 for 40.
In reply, Dove stuttered to 55-5 but Joe Hall hit 35 to bring Dove back into contention. Ben Bagshaw then hit a superb 68 as Dove got close but ultimately fell just 7 runs short of the target.
Division Two
Chapel 126/7 v Dove Holes 120/7
Chapel win by 3 wickets
The Second Team made the short journey to face Chapel First Team.
Dove batted first and opener Mark Turner hit 30 as Dove posted 120/7 from the 40 overs.
In reply, Dove picked up early wickets reducing the hosts to 32/4. Ted Johnson bowled a superb spell of 11 overs 4 wickets for 22 runs but Chapel reached the target with 3 wickets spare.
