During last nights Twenty20 against High Lane Dove Holes bowlers James Gemmell and Cory Flint picked up a rare and remarkable achievement with both taking hat-tricks in the same innings!
James Gemmell kicked things off picking up Dove’s first three wickets, bowled LBW & caught.
Cory Flint mopped up the tail with Dove’s last three wickets, bowled bowled bowled.
High Lane were ripped apart by this bizarre yet incredible achievement and were all out for 45 in 12.4 overs. Dove knocked off the total for one wicket inside 10 overs.
Despite having many hat-tricks achieved against our batters, Dove Holes bowlers have very rarely picked up hat-tricks we believe this may be our first since Shaun Cartledge circa 2000!
What we do know is that this is our first two Twenty20 hat-tricks and certainly the only occasion we have picked up two hat-tricks in the same innings!
